I got accepted today!
So, should I be worried about getting a non-compatible roommate?

Congratulations on getting accepted!

I wouldn't worry a bit about getting a non-compatible roommate. They'll send you a questionaire to fill out and match you with people with similar answers. Be full-on honest with it, too.

I was paired with two random girls my freshman year, and this marks two and half years that we've lived together since we started at Flagler. They're pretty much my best friends.

Congrats from me as well! I hope you enjoy it here at Flagler!

Getting a non-compatible roommate is not that big of a deal. Like the first poster said, you have a very nifty survey that matches you quite well with other girls.

My freshman year I was with one other girl and then we shared a bathroom with two other girls. It was tight, but cozy. And we got along well. It wasn't a bad set up at all, just remember because you are an incoming freshman you may not get the best rooms but you'll be content enough. You can have anywhere from one roommate to seven, I believe.

Flagler should send you a paper with who you'll be rooming with (their name, their hometown, your room number, and floor) in a few weeks.

Once you begin to make friends at Flagler you can request to live with them after your first year. You don't have to stay with the same person year after year. Once you get a higher standing (junior, senior) you'll be able to have, basically, your choice of any of the rooms.

I hope that answers your questions ^-^ Take care!
